Life Code™ art is a unique and personalized work of art created with a loved one’s names and dates of birth and death.  (We call those “Life Code™ Elements”). Throughout the artwork design there are lines. The placement of each line in the artwork corresponds to a letter or number. You can select the design, create the text and choose from a wide range of colors.

Anyone who wants to remember someone. It’s a great alternative to flowers or another condolence acknowledgment. Because of our wide range of sizes, you can order a print large enough to display on a wall or small enough to place privately on a desk.

Each design has a different code. See a description and examples of each code on the Design pages, or click on these links Corners, Cross, Oval, Extension. We have developed copyrighted software (also known as “code”) to create these designs quickly and accurately.

No. There is the option to omit the identifying information, or to have just the name, or just the dates. You could also choose to put a quote or a phrase on the art.

Cross has the option of using a middle name or a nickname. The other designs do not. We are working on more designs that do allow a third name. For any design, the text box can accommodate a middle name or initial.

You have your choice of a frame (in 5 colors) or no frame.

We use non-glare glass. The large sizes are dry matted on a self-adhesive foam core board, so they should remain wrinkle free for many years.

We use polystyrene frames. They are durable, made in the U.S. and environmentally friendly.

A matte is optional. Matting increases the size of the frame by 2” on each side.

Yes. You can buy the electronic file and an exclusive license to make unlimited copies of your design, with or without buying a physical print from us. Just e-mail us and we will send you a link that allows you to download the electronic file.

The key to an appealing color scheme is to contrast the background colors with the colors of the lines. For example, if the background will be red, orange lines would probable not be the best choice. In addition, if a text box is selected, the color of the words in the text box should be distinct from the background. You can see Color Examples.

Yes! You can create as many proofs as you want using our Create tab. Just select the design you want to create and enter the names and dates, select the colors and click “Generate design.” After the design loads you can change the text box, to add a middle name or initial, or insert your own text, such as a saying or a verse, or to eliminate the text. We have placed on the proof the watermark “COPYRIGHT PROTECTED.”

For standard turnaround, we can create the Life Code™ art within 5 days of an order, which we can ship with 2 day delivery at no extra charge. For an extra charge, we can expedite both the production and the shipment.

Yes, although the shipping costs will increase.

We ship with UPS and USPS, overnight and two-day delivery. Once your art leaves our workshop, we will email you a tracking number.

Unfortunately, because Life Code™ Art is custom made to order, we cannot except returns. However, if your art is received damaged or with incorrect information or if you are not happy with it for any reason, please email us at Admin@LifeCodeArt.com or call (212) 332-2345 and we will be happy to fix it and send you a new piece.

It depends on what is ordered. We have a Price List. But a simple answer is: Less than a large flower arrangement. And after the flowers are gone, the LIFE CODE™ art is, forever. E-mail us an we will get right back to you.
